New legislation in Springfield (SB-2652) would make it a FELONY CRIME to possess, sell, or transfer a Glock handgun in Illinois, simply because it can receive a ‘Glock Switch’ and shoot full auto.
Of course, these are already illegal in Illinois and at the federal level.
This is total garbage, a naked attempt to ban the most popular handgun in America. If Pritzker cared about stopping criminals, he’d fix our bail laws, stop passing gun control, and pass Stand-Your-Ground law!
The bill was filed last week and could receive cosponsors very quickly.
Gun owners need to hammer Springfield with petitions and emails and calls against this disgusting bill! Sign your OFFICIAL PETITION against any attempt to make it a felony to buy a Glock (or other semi-auto) handgun!
