But, of course, instead of locking up violent criminals, Pritzker and his allies are doing everything they can to make you and me the criminals.
That’s what’s happening right now in the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Illinois is defending its so-called “Protect Illinois Communities Act” — their unconstitutional ban on AR-15s, standard mags, and countless parts and accessories in the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals.
And the court is skeptical.
Judges are questioning whether the state’s case can even survive, after the lower court already found against them with 16 expert witnesses and 250 exhibits.
Illinois argues that AR-15s and magazines are “militaristic” — not suitable for self-defense. They claim “history” supports their ban by comparing modern rifles to 19th-century Bowie knives.
It’s insane. And it’s dangerous.
While thugs run the streets of Chicago, Springfield, and East St. Louis — JB Pritzker is pouring every ounce of state power into stripping your rights away.
We cannot let him win.
Gun owners didn’t cause this crime wave. Criminals did. Soros-style prosecutors did. And JB Pritzker did. Now he wants to use their crimes as the excuse to disarm all of us.
