In just two days — March 18 — politicians in Springfield will hold a committee hearing on one of the most dangerous gun control bills ever introduced in Illinois.
J.B. Pritzker’s Ammo Registration Act (House Bill 4414) is moving fast. And if gun owners don’t explode into action immediately, it could sail through committee before most people even know what happened.
This bill isn’t about crime or safety; it’s about disarming you.

HB-4414 is straight out of a dictator’s playbook. It is designed to put the government in control of every round of ammunition we own.
Here’s what this legislation actually does:
👉 Requires all handgun ammo sold in Illinois to be serialized
👉 Instructs the State Police to register all ammo sales
👉 Lets the State Police charge $0.05 p/round for admin fees
👉 Puts anyone who possesses unserialized ammo in a “public place” in prison for up to 364 days, with a fine of $2,500.
Read that again.
Every round of ammo tracked.
Every purchase you make recorded.
Law-abiding gun owners treated like a convicted sex offender.
Criminals will ignore this law, just like they ignore every law. But for the rest of us, this would give JB Pritzker a list of every round of ammo we own and set us up for criminal charges.

The goal of this bill is simple: disarmament.
And this bill is moving fast. The first committee hearing is this Wednesday. If this bill clears committee, it becomes dramatically harder to stop later.
That is why we must flood Springfield with opposition right now — before the vote happens.
Your petition sends a clear message to every politician in Springfield: Vote for ammo registration — and pay the price at election time.
Gun owners in Illinois are not going quietly.
We’re going to make the commies who want to disarm us pay for every single inch of ground they try to take.
Your support funds the emergency emails, text alerts, digital ads, and grassroots pressure needed to stop HB-4414 while there is still time.
Without resources, our ability to fight back is severely limited — and that is exactly what anti-gun politicians are counting on.
For Illinois,

Aaron Dorr
Executive Director
Illinois Firearms Association
P.S. The committee hearing on Governor Pritzker’s plan to serialize and register all ammo sales is March 18 — two days away.
Pritzker and his allies hope to do this so fast that gun owners don’t have time to mobilize.
