Session is coming fast in Springfield, and the next legislative session is going to be a battle from day 1.
While there are plenty of gun control bills to worry about, one of the top items on Governor Pritzker’s agenda is resurrecting HB-3891 — ammo registration for Illinois.
We’ve stopped this bill before, but we believe it’s coming back.
It wouldn’t matter if you have a FOID Card.
It wouldn’t matter if you have a spotless record.
It wouldn’t matter that the law is unconstitutional.
This is all part of JB Pritzker’s hatred of gun owners and the Second Amendment. He wants to disarm every single one of us.

Here’s what this ammo registration scheme would actually do:
— Require State Police approval for all ammo purchases
— Create a government registry of how much ammo we have
— Allow the state to block purchases if the database is down
— Demonizes gun owners, tracking us like sex offenders
This has nothing to do with public safety.
Criminals don’t buy ammo at gun stores, they don’t use FOID Cards, and they don’t wait for databases to come back online. Ammo registration targets only one group: lawful gun owners.
And once the state controls ammunition, controlling firearms becomes easy.
No ammo.
No training.
No self-defense.
No real Second Amendment.
That’s why we’re acting now — before the bill is filed, before it’s rushed through committee, and before Democrats use their supermajority to ram it into law.

Your signature helps us send a clear message to Springfield:
Gun owners are very well organized. We’ll fight this all session long. And anyone who votes for this will be lit up in the 2026 midterms.
One more thing.
If you haven’t yet renewed your membership with the Illinois Firearms Association, this is exactly the kind of fight your support makes possible.
In a state like Illinois, holding the line requires early action, constant pressure, and a fully engaged grassroots army.
Thank you for standing with us.

P.S. The 2026 session is right around the corner, and JB Pritzker wants to resurrect the ammo registration that we killed last year.
This bill would likely force us to register every round of ammo we buy at the point of sale, and it wouldn’t matter if we have a FOID Card. Sign your petition against this bill now.
