After passing SB-8 and mandating deadly firearms storage laws, J.B. Pritzker and his allies in Springfield want to go even further with HB-1398. This bill weaponizes pediatricians, making them foot soldiers in Pritzker’s war against gun owners.
Here’s what the bill would specifically do:
1. Instruct pediatricians to ask your children/grandchildren about guns in your home.
2. Further instructs them to ask detailed questions about how the guns are stored.
3. Requires doctors to push materials to kids that would turn them against guns.
And don’t forget, doctors are mandated reporters. So if your child ‘admits’ that Dad or Mom has a Glock 9mm on the bedside stand, they will call you in to the State Police!
